Every Business Entity in California is required to comply with the Registered Agents California rules, either by listing an individual agent’s name and address, or appointing a Corporate Agent to act on their behalf. Failing to include proper information for a Company’s Registered Agent will automatically result in the State Business Department rejecting its formation filing. Not to worry – this is a simple fix, SOS Filings Incorporated can act as your Corporate Agent for a $200 annual fee.

The requirement of anyone who is serving as the Registered Agent for a new company is that they must always be available in person to receive documents by hand. With SOS Filings Incorporated acting as your Corporate Registered Agent for Service of Process, we would receive the initial summons in the event your company is sued. As your Corporate Agent, we would then forward any legal documents we receive on our client’s behalf to them.

The contract is valid for a year, at which time it will be automatically renewed; with the yearly fee being charged to the payment method we have on file. Written request is required before the renewal month in order to cancel the automatic renewal of contract.

Step 1:

Download and completely fill out our Registered Agent Service Agreement Form. The Contact we’re requesting (on page 2) is the Company contact that you would like us to forward any legal documents we receive to.

Step 2:

Submit the Registered Agent Service Agreement Form. This can be uploaded with your documents on our online order forms, or submitted as it’s own order. However you decide to get this agreement to us, please make sure that your new entity’s documents are correctly filled out to reflect our name as it is registered with the State: “SOS Filings Incorporated”.
