Consent Letter Template
This is required by the Secretary of State’s Office when forming a California Corporation or LLC that contains a similar/matching name to an entity that already exists. This would need to be from the Owner/Manager of the entity owning the name in question (ie. SOS Filings Incorporated 2 would require consent from us).
Credit Card Authorization Form
SOS Filings requires a Credit Card Authorization form be filled out if a) your card is expired or has declined and we need to attempt a new one, b) you are submitting a filing for your client and are using their card, or c) you want to submit a new card to update your account.
Mail Order Form
This cover page is required to mail your order in; and will be followed up with a confirmation phone call. Mailing is the only way to get Apostille orders in to us; as it is the only way for us to receive the original documents the Secretary of State’s Office requires.
Registered Agent Agreement & Payment Authorization Form
If you would like to secure SOS Filings Incorporated as the Registered Corporate Agent for your company, newly formed or otherwise, we will need one of these agreements on file. This is automatically renewed annually until written cancellation is received.
SOS Records Request Form
This will be required for any Records Request we make, including the Certificate of Good Standing (CoGS). Once submitted to us, we’ll hand deliver it to the Secretary of State’s Office in Sacramento. The State will return them to us in person as well and, as is our standard operating procedure, we will send scans to you the day we get them back.
Upgrade Letter Template
This is required by the Secretary of State’s Office when forming a California corporation or LLC that has been previously submitted (ie. via mail or online) and is being resubmitted using a more time-efficient process (ie. hand delivery). This will need to be signed by the Incorporator/Organizer of the originals, requesting that the SOS disregards the original submission and instead processes the ‘new’ one attached. Certain fees are nonrefundable and will be retained by the SOS, but the Filing Fee you’ve previously supplied will be returned to you in the method it was provided. All fees required for your filing will be need to be supplied again with the ‘new’ submission.
